Amalfi City and harbour from just outside the village of Pontone. The sailing ship is one of a growing fleet of passenger vessels that are using wind propulsion as well as motors.
The manipulation is partly achieved Silver Efex Profilters with additional layer effects in Photoshop CS3.

The start of the procession, where the effigy/reliquary of Sant Andrea is borne out of the Duomo before being carried through the town, out to the sea front, onto the beach to bless the local fishing boats and eventually back to the Duomo.
