Welcome and thanks for taking a look at this blog. I’ve started to get more interested in the whole business of blogging over the last year or so but, because I have a busy job, have found it difficult to get started. I’ve been off work with a mild illness for the last week and have taken the opportunity to be a bit more proactive.

This page will probably change fairly soon when I develop a more informative set of facts to put down and also when I have a clearer idea of the direction that I want this blog to move towards. Ultimately I want to hava blog that I can use to communicate with my colleagues at work. I have to communicate information to a large number of people that represent different staff groupings, so I’m interested in working out solutions to that issue. I want to have something that’s fairly fully formed before I roll it out because I’m aware of how easily people can be turned off from using digital communications. I’m just the same myself – if I don’t find what I’m expecting quite quickly on a website or other online source I very rarely go back.

I’m always grateful for feedback, hints and tips or if anyone has examples that they find appealing, useful or interesting so please let me know if you can spare the time.
